The Modular Construction Industry's Best Event Returns to Europe in 2025!

MBI Board President John Buongiorno helped represent MBI during the conference and spoke about the success of MBI's first European event.

Franco Vietti, associate at Green Prefab, both presented at the event and was awarded MBI's European Volunteer of the Year Award for his work in bringing the industry together.

Ewelina Woźniak-Szpakiewicz, co-chair of MBI's European Council, described the value of the event and of her company's long association with MBI.

Industry Leaders from Around the World Gathered for
World of Modular Europe

Nearly 200 modular construction leaders from across the world gathered in Brussels for MBI's inaugural World of Modular Europe event in October, 2024. Kicked off by an outstanding keynote presentation from Erlend Spets, an associate partner at McKinsey & Company, the conference offered attendees two full days of education, networking opportunities, face-to-face meetings, and even a factory tour and product demonstrations.

"Belgium is the hub of the EU," said MBI Board President John Buongiorno during the conference. "It just seemed right for the first [World of Modular Europe] event that we do it in Brussels. We have people from all over Europe here. We have a group in from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, even from Canada and the U.S. When you bring in all different sectors from different parts of the world, as different as our markets are, what we're find is: they're still a lot of the same challenges."

"Everybody came here to share information," he continued. "It's all about creating a better industry."
