A Society of Donors Supporting Student Scholarships

MBI Foundation 1983 Society Logo

Let Us Commemorate Your Giving

The MBI Educational Foundation created the 1983 Society as a unique way to recognize individuals and companies whose participation continues to impact the next generation of modular building professionals and workers. Donors that give $1000 or more annually qualify to be a part of the 1983 Society. These gifts are used to expand opportunities, increase awareness, and foster growth in the commercial modular construction industry by providing scholarships for college and high school students.

Well-known in the commercial modular building industry, several donors currently make up the highest level of giving, including Barry Gossett, Bill Duffield, Mike & Kathy Wilmot, Mike & Lori Rhodes, and Todd Sommer. These individuals have made gifts of $100,000 or more, earning them the distinction of "Legacy League."
