Architectural Excellence
This building was able to meet the UPS brand standards and requirements for a building that would be visually recognized as the UPS office while being built in a modular facility. The building includes a large ADA compliant bathroom for the employee as well as a large storage and work room with exterior access and a roll down security screen. The customer entrance area includes a service counter and bank of mailboxes. The building was installed downtown directly across from the college and it integrated quickly into it's surroundings.
Technical Innovation & Sustainability
Factory built construction allowed us to achieve this build during the winter months. We did not expose the buildings to weather and moisture and did not disrupt a busy downtown corner with long ongoing construction. We were able to be in and out of the site with the building with minimal disruption and built a nice looking office retail space.
Cost Effectiveness
Using modular construction allowed the owner to build through the winter months, a time that can be costly for construction. It also allowed them to reduce their construction time by building offsite while the siteworks were ongoing.
