- Entry Objective
The objective was to design a modern and responsive website that demonstrated Alta-Fab’s experience and capacity that would ultimately increase search engine optimization results. With the goal of reaching both customers and employees, the site features organizational history, the importance of safety and quality assurances, community involvement profile, as well as outlining existing strategic partnerships. The website positions Alta-Fab as an industry leader by highlighting their innovative approach to creating modular solutions and unique products. The redesign and artwork was all completed as part of an entire organizational rebrand that was launched in time for the 2014 Global Petroleum Show in Calgary June 10-12, 2014.
- Effect on Sales, Visits, or Inquiries
In the first five months following the website’s launch at the 2014 Global Petroleum Show in Calgary, Alberta the site achieved considerably more traffic than the same time period of the previous year. The new site attracted 5,699 visits from organic search traffic and 4,171 new users from organic search visits, an increase from the previous year of 57% and 61%, respectively. The fully responsive site design is user-friendly and visually appealing to allow for broader access on all styles and sizes of devices including large screen displays, laptops, tablets, and smartphone web browsers. Improved access and navigability of the site has led to a stronger understanding of Alta-Fab’s value, experience, and capacity among their key stakeholders.
