London, UK - The Aid and International Development Forum (AIDF) is pleased to announce its partnership with the Modular Building Institute (MBI) for the 2012 show.
AIDF is a leading forum on humanitarian aid and international development, bringing together NGOs, governments, intergovernmental organizations and aid agencies to create partnerships and share new innovations and technologies. This year MBI are both a partner and exhibitor at AIDF, working together to present the latest innovations in modular building to the aid and international development sector.
MBI works with various organizations working in international development to provide simple, quick and efficient buildings to communities affected by conflict or disaster. The organizations that are members of MBI work to construct essential buildings such as schools, hospitals and housing. MBI recently partnered with the International Code Council (ICC) to rebuild communities after a spate of tornadoes across the United States.
Project Director, Sula Bruce said “We are excited about partnering with MBI for AIDF2012 and are looking forward to showcasing MBI’s member organizations to the international aid and development community.”
Various members of MBI will be exhibiting at AIDF, including manufacturers of permanent and re-locatable modular buildings, dealers and contractors, as well as companies supplying building components and services.
The Modular Building Institute (MBI) is the international non-profit trade association serving modular construction. Members include providers of code compliant relocatable buildings, as well as permanent modular construction contractors and suppliers. As the Voice of Commercial Modular Construction (TM), it is MBI’s mission to expand the use of offsite construction through innovative construction practices, outreach and education to the construction community and customers, and recognition of high quality modular designs and facilities.
